Sunny Skies Ahead
There is nothing better lately than bright skies and Santa Anas blowing in March. Does it mean that maybe there might be an El Niño year? Totally, but I will say I have been soaking it up lately.
Soaking up some time too. I have been in the throws of planning some Oakley events and finishing out some collections for 2026. Meanwhile, last week, I was summoned to a layoff meeting, and found out my position was terminated, starting at the end of the month. C'est la vie!
I have been diligently working to pay off my schooling and whatnot, during these periods of Corporate Creativity, and Kaleb is turning 17 this year, so I have decided to take some time and freelance for the year! Of course, if things come down to it, I would look for something more permanent. But for now, I feel excited and ready to take on some freelance again, and spend some energy working on projects more related to my own art.
I am thrilled to say the least, so keep an eye out for some of my projects I decide to roll out. I will be listing pattern licenses, some print at home pieces, and new art as much as I can!
